here is another one of my LEQ's.

LEQ from March 1st

Think:

What is wisdom?

Write:


Write 5 statements that show logical wisdom and 5 statements that show emotional wisdom. Which one was harder to come up with? Why?


What I wrote:

LOGICAL WISDOM 

1. 2+2=4
2. giraffes have long necks
3. candy can be sweet or sour
4. money in cash is green
5. the sky always includes stars    

EMOTIONAL WISDOM

1. you shouldn't lie
2. you shouldn't do drugs
3. you aren't supposed to cheat
4. you should try to make friends
5. you should always be confident and brave

WHICH ONE IS HARDER AND WHY?


Logical was harder to come up with. Logic is not my strong point and I'm more about emotions.

OK i will be posting some LEQ work in my critical thinking class for gifted kids that i got the grade 5/5  (100) on.

• What does Pascal mean when he said, "By the heart".
• What truth does a mathematician rely on?
• What does a philosopher rely on?

How do you evaluate credibility?




My answer:


    When I want to know the truth on any subject, I just look it up. When I say look it up I mean that I think about it to the extent that I finally know the answer to the question of "are they lieing?"
    When people are telling the truth, it is right on the top of of their head and they wont studder. This is how I know that a person has credibility and that I know I can trust a person.
    Hopefully everyone has credibility. If they are telling the truth it isn't studdered.

hhheeyyyyy!!!!!! i just got back from sthefany Molina's house with Katelyn!!!!! we went bowling at around 8:30pm. it was so weird that the people beside us in lane 24 were adults dancing very weirdly in front of us!!! one old lady was shaking her butt and saying do you want AAAAALLLL of this?!?!?!?!?! i whispered in Katelyn's ear "no i don't want AALLLLL of that". at their table they had beer and alcohol we saw.. so sthefany whispered in my ear they are just drunk lol. more weird drama to come!!!!
