Oh My Gosh!! I feel like it's been forever. This whole blog was a class assignment from when I was in sixth grade. Last time I posted, it was in the summer. Now, here we are, about time for it to be summer again! So let's talk about my year so far. I was terrified at orientation because I had the most challenging teachers. Once I got at least two months into seventh grade, I realized life is a challenge. As long as I try my best, I should be OK. All year so far, I've only had straight A's.
Now for those of you who didn't know, I'm extremely interested in theatre. I love it. I'm involved in Jr. Thespians, and I was in two plays. At Jr. Thespians, I was in a group scene with 3 other girls, and I had a monologue by myself. At the first level of Jr. Thespians (district), I recieved an excellent on my monologue, and much to my surprise, a superior on my group scene. At the second level of Jr. Thespians (state), not all people in my scene were able to attend, so I only did my monologue, which I recieved a good on because I was cut-off by the person keeping time. She forgot to restart the timer from the person before me. At the All County Theatre festival, I recieved and excellent on my monologue, almost recieveing a superior. The plays I was involved in this year are Holes, where I played the character of ZigZag, and my personal favorite, Seussical, where my character was The Cat in the Hat.
Obviously, my year has been quite a memory. Well, I have to resume my homework. More posts to come! :)
